The only muddy point I have been struggling with lately is finding two numbers that multiply together to produce a minimum and also add/subtract to a certain number.  The practice last week on finding an equation with three points was helpful, and I'm ok with that now.  With the two numbers, I can do it to find a maximum value, but for some reason I can't do it for a minimum.
