A reflective comment on your progress in the course.
This course has been pretty difficult for me to keep up in. I have been trying my hardest to study every night, even for just a few minutes, to try to help my understanding of the material. I understand bits and pieces of what we have learned so far, but not the whole section overall. It was a big change from my last school to this one, the material taught here is much more difficult than what I have been previously taught. Also, since I haven't taken Algebra 2 since freshman year it was even harder to remember what I had learned back then and apply it to what we are now being taught in this class. I think that since I seem to be struggling so much, and haven't been able to improve myself on my own like usual, I should get some outside, or extra help in order for me to do well and also in order for me to genuinely understand the material.
I'm sorry to hear this, although it seems to happen a lot for students that switch schools. So, don't worry too much! You have a great attitude and if you come in for extra help, I'm sure you'll pick up the concepts very quickly!
