Blog Post #7

A comment on something that you've learned that you thought was "cool".
I found it pretty interesting that when we were trying to figure out how to factor the four term polynomials I noticed the way that involves educated guesses with the placement of values.  It was really cool to see that the pattern I noticed could actually help a lot to factor fairly quickly.  I was already pretty satisfied with that method, but the grouping method that we learned next made factoring the four term polynomials so much easier.  Really everything that we've done in this polynomials unit has been really interesting.  The options between bouncing off, curving through, and going straight through when graphing makes a lot of sense now.  The A and B equations from the green sheet make sense too.  The amount of dividing that we did today makes sense also.  Everything kind of came together really fast in this unit.
