Week 7 - Blog Post

As I reflect on this week, I have to say everything is going rather good. We went deeper into factoring higher polynomial degree functions while using long division. The only thing that is confusing me is factoring a degree of 6 or higher. When I try i factor down to the next lowest degree then I blank if it is still whole. An example would be after you factor for the first set the outcome would be: (x+7)(x^5 + 8x^4  - 3x^3 + 1x^2 + x - 10). I'm trying to use a polynomial like that for one of my D.E.V. project questions but i can't seem to figure it out. Other than that I understand how to factor cubics and fourth power polynomials. Have a good day!
